What is your return and exchange policy?

We want you to love your Nowadays pieces, but if something isn’t quite right, you can return it for a refund—provided it's unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with tags attached. Returns must be approved and sent back within 10 days of delivery. We don’t offer exchanges, so if you need a different size or style, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item.

How do I make a return?

To request a return, email us at hello@nowadays-au.com. Once approved, we’ll send a return authorisation number and our shipping address. Ship your item back within 10 days, and we’ll process your refund within 5-7 business days once received. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping within Australia for orders of $250 or more. 

For orders under $250, or for international orders, we have the following shipping options:

  • Australia: $10 Standard or $15 Express
  • New Zealand: $20 AUD Flat Rate Standard
  • Rest of the world: Rates are calculated at checkout.

Please note: International orders may be subject to duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide! Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, and any applicable duties or taxes will be charged by your local customs office upon arrival.

How do I know which size to order?

We recommend choosing the size closest to your child’s age. For a relaxed, oversized fit (and extra room to grow), consider sizing up. Need more guidance? Check our size guide or reach out—we’re happy to help.

What materials do you use in your clothing?

All our pieces are made with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, thoughtfully designed in Australia and ethically crafted in India. We choose natural, breathable fabrics that are gentle on your little one’s skin and the planet.

How should I care for my items?

To keep your Nowadays pieces looking their best:

  • Wash inside out on a cool, gentle cycle with like colours.
  • Avoid bleach, tumble drying, or dry cleaning.
  • A warm iron can be used if needed.

Are your products ethically made?

Yes. We are committed to responsible production, working with suppliers who uphold fair and safe working conditions. Our garments are made in India using ethical practices, ensuring that everyone involved is treated with respect.

Do you offer gift cards?
